We are hosting two Women Veterans Military Moral Injury conferences in 2020. The first will take place in Charleston, SC on March 26-27 and the second in Richmond, VA, May 14-15. The purposes of the conferences are to bring together women veterans, military and VA chaplains, civilian clergy and mental health practitioners to discuss the complexities and realities of military moral injury for servicewomen. Moral injury is often thought of as something that happens to men in combat, but women experience moral injury in many ways from their fellow service men – through military sexual trauma, hazing, and physical violence. There is still room for you to register (only $30 to attend if you register by January 15th).
It is very important that we make this a conference that serves the needs of women veterans. If you could select the topics for discussion, what would you include?
